Meet The Doctor

Oral Surgeon Mont M. Ringer, DDS, MS

Dr. Ringer, oral surgeon in Southern Nevada, graduated from Utah State University in 1978 and obtained his DDS from The University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1981. After completing a General Dentistry Residency at Palo Alto California, he relocated to Iowa City, Iowa to train in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. At The University of Iowa he received a Master's Degree and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate in 1985. Dr. Ringer and his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada that year where he has been in a private practice for the past 20 years. As a result of timing and training Dr. Ringer was the first oral surgeon to place oral implants, of the type currently used, in Nevada. Dr. Ringer is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Nevada Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, for which he has served as past president for the Southern Nevada Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He became “Board Certified” as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1987. Dr. Ringer attends numerous lectures and continuing education seminars to keep informed of the latest surgical advances in his field. He has traveled to the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador, Dominican Republic, three times to Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador where he has treated underprivileged people on dental service missions.
